Hi, I’m Victory—a mother of seven, educator, and passionate advocate for children with learning differences. With over 17 years of classroom experience teaching 5–7-year-olds and 4 years dedicated to training and mentoring fellow educators, my journey in education is both personal and professional.
My own childhood struggles with reading, writing, and speaking—later identified as dyslexia—ignited a deep empathy for learners facing similar challenges. This personal experience fuels my commitment to understanding the intricacies of learning and developing effective strategies to support every child.
Over the past 15 years, I've delved into research-based methodologies to answer pivotal questions: How do children learn? Why do some face more challenges than others? How can we make learning accessible to all? This quest led me to specialize in:

I firmly believe that "Anyone can learn" and "Children do well if they can." My mission is to identify and dismantle barriers—be they cognitive, emotional, or environmental—to unlock each child's potential.

Working directly with children, parents, and teachers, I provide:- One-on-one support for learners with challenges in reading, writing, communication, and maths
- Specialized phonological awareness courses for both children and adults to build foundational language skills
- Multi-sensory, visual, and hands-on learning materials designed for children who learn differently
- Parent and teacher coaching, empowering adults to support their learners more effectively
- Cognitive development sessions using Feuerstein strategies to improve thinking and learning flexibility

Founder, CogniTwigs Learning Resources – Self-employed | Co-homeschooling my seven children with my husband, Hopeful Disciple
After leaving a high-control environment, I founded CogniTwigs to pursue my passion for helping struggling learners in a safe, nurturing, and personalised way. At home, I focused on creating an environment that supported my own children’s healing—emotionally, socially, and educationally—after years in a toxic system. This experience shaped my understanding of how deeply social and emotional wellbeing impact learning, and how vital it is to rebuild trust and joy in the learning process.- Developed research-based resources and courses for children facing learning challenges, including dyslexia and cognitive processing issues

Teacher, Gloriavale Christian Community School – West Coast, New Zealand- Started as a teacher aide and became a full-time teacher with a focus on early learners and those falling behind
- Specialized in dyslexia, processing disorders, and other learning difficulties
- Developed custom curriculum and resources for students with diverse needs
- Trained and mentored new teachers to understand the root causes of learning struggles
- Advocated for more compassionate, individualized teaching methods in a challenging school environment
